VetPlus Canine Cystaid contains NAG, which helps to support bladder health by helping to maintain the bladder lining. Canine Cystaid aims for support the bladder lining. Part of the bladder lining is a layer of glycosaminoglycan (GAG) chains, which provides support to the bladder cells below, preventing irritation by the urine.

 

What Can Lead To Bladder Wall Problems

  • Post-operative - After bladder surgery, it could benefit your cat to maintain a healthy bladder wall
  • Bladder Stones/Crystals - Bladder health is often found in cats with bladder stones
  • Stress - Bladder wall health can be caused by stress
  • Low Water Intake - A low water intake can lead to issues further down the line

 

Signs of bladder inflammation can include:

  • Pain or difficulty urinating
  • Urinating more frequently
  • Blood in the urine
  • Passing little or no urine
  • Initially: Give 1 capsule per 10kg body weight per day.
  • Maintenance: 1 capsule per 10kg body weight every other day.

Capsules can be opened and mixed with food or given whole.
