Protexin Pro-Kolin Enterogenic Sachet contains the probiotic Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4b1707, which helps promote good bacteria in their gut microbiome. It also contains the prebiotic Preplex®, a combination of oligofructose (FOS) and acacia (gum arabic), which supports the growth of good bacteria, and Pectin, to soothe the gut lining.

  • Maintaining normal levels of cobalamin (vitamin B12)

 

Main ingredients and benefits:

  • Supports gut health – the probiotic Enterococcus faecium (DSM 10663/NCIMB 10415) 4b170 promotes good bacteria, while the prebiotic Fibersol feeds them. The postbiotic Bifidobacterium animalis ssp. Lactis CECT 8145 helps modulate gut health

  • Protects immunity – Safmannan, purified from the postbiotic yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae, provides mannan-oligosaccharide (MOS) and beta-glucans to help modulate the immune system. The binding clay Bentonite absorbs and expels toxins

  • Helps protect from pathogens – Protexin Veterinary Pro-Kolin Enterogenic Powder Sachets also contain L-threonine and N-acetyl D-glucosamine to support the mucus layer – the protective barrier lining the gut

  • Tops up essential vitamin B12 – cobalamin, also known as vitamin B12, plays an important role in cell function, DNA synthesis, metabolising amino and fatty acids, and the formation of red blood cells

Dosage & Administration:

  • <5kg - Half sachet daily
  • 5-15kg - 1 sachet daily
  • 15-35kg - 2 sachets daily
  • >35kg - 3 sachets daily

Add to the daily food for as long as considered necessary or as advised by your veterinary surgeon. Simultaneous use alongside oral macrolides should be avoided.
