Protexin Cystophan Capsules for Cats contain three key ingredients designed to protect the bladder lining and help maintain mood stability:

 

  • N-acetyl D-glucosamine: A crucial component and precursor of the protective glucosamine (GAG) layer in the bladder, helping to maintain a healthy bladder lining.
  • Hyaluronic acid: One of the main components of the GAG ​​layer, providing a protective barrier for the bladder lining.
  • L-tryptophan: Converted into serotonin (the "happy hormone") in the brain, it helps regulate mood and anxiety levels, thereby reducing stress-related urinary problems.
The capsules can be given whole or opened, and the palatable contents sprinkled onto food. 
 

<=3kg

  • Initially - 1 capsule daily, for at least 2 weeks
  • For long-term maintenance - 1 capsule every other day

>3kg

  • Initially - 2 capsule daily, for at least 2 weeks
  • For long-term maintenance - 1 capsule daily

For long-term maintenance, give for as long as considered necessary or as advised by your veterinary surgeon.
