Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedin (Pimobendan) Chewable for Dogs

This product is supplied by Acorn Veterinary Hospital.

Pimobendan chewable tablets (most commonly sold under the brand name Vetmedin) are a prescription medication used to manage congestive heart failure (CHF) in dogs. This medication is classified as an "inodilator" because it provides a dual action: it strengthens the heart's pumping ability (positive inotrope) and relaxes blood vessels (vasodilator) to reduce the heart's workload.
