Apoquel Chewable (oclacitinib) is a fast-acting, used to control itching and inflammation in dogs at least 12 months old. It is highly palatable, typically flavored with pork liver, and designed to be given as a treat to simplify dosing for owners who find regular tablets difficult to administer.

  • Common Side Effects: The most frequently reported side effects are vomiting and diarrhea, which often resolve on their own.
  • Drug Compatibility: It can generally be used alongside vaccines, antibiotics, and NSAIDs, but has not been specifically evaluated for use with other immunosuppressants like steroids or cyclosporine.
