Common Uses

  • Routine Hygiene: Cleans away everyday dust, environmental allergens, debris, and dried discharge from the eye area.
  • Tear Stain Management: Helps clean the fur around the eyes to prevent dark tear staining, especially in short-faced (brachycephalic) or light-coated breeds.
  • Pre-Treatment Preparation: Safely cleanses the eye contour area before applying medicated ophthalmic drops or ointments prescribed by a vet.

Instructions For Use

  • Apply as often as needed to cleanse the eye contour and eyelids, either directly or using a moistened compress.
  • Use for regular maintenance or before applying eye treatments.

How to Apply

  1. Choose a Calm Moment: Ensure your dog or cat is completely relaxed.
  2. Avoid Cotton Wool: Never use loose cotton wool, as micro-fibres can break off and scratch the cornea. Instead, use a sterile cotton compress or lint-free pad.
  3. Soak and Wipe: Saturate the compress with the Phytobiovet Eye Cleanser.
  4. Wipe the eyelids and surrounding fur gently, working from the inside corner of the eye outward.
  5. Direct Flush (Optional): If clearing dust directly from the cornea, the solution can be dropped directly into the eye contour safely.
