Dechra Mal-A-Ket Shampoo for Cats & Dogs is a shampoo which is indicated for coat and skin conditions where the following properties would be beneficial to the patient: antifungal, antibacterial, and degreasing.

 

This product is intended for topical application on animals. While it is safe for general use, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use if your pet has any pre-existing health conditions, is pregnant, nursing, or if you have any concerns.

Dechra Mal-A-Ket Shampoo for Cats & Dogs is a shampoo which is indicated for coat and skin conditions where the following properties would be beneficial to the patient: antifungal, antibacterial, and degreasing.

 

The main ingredients include chlorhexidine and ketoconazole, which are effective in treating folliculitis, seborrhea, and dermatitis caused by fungal and bacterial infections. They have cleansing, drying, degreasing, and reducing redness, swelling, and itching.

 

  • Suitable for treating mild to moderate bacterial and fungal infections, dermatitis, and excessive oil production.
  • Wet your pet with warm water from the neck down
  • Gently massage the shampoo onto the skin
  • Repeat on the entire body and leave on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing
  • Repeat if necessary. Wash hands after use

 

Recommended to use 2-4 times per week initially, and then once per week after symptoms improve.

If skin irritation develops, increases or your cat or dog is uncomfortable, please consult your veterinarian.
